Shandong Animal Agriculture Office is administrative responsible institution for animal agriculture of the whole province that the main duty is following:
The first, carrying out national relevant principles, policies, laws and regulations of the animal agriculture, studying and drawing up the policies and regulations of animal agriculture of the whole province, supervising after sanctioning.
The second, studying and drafting the medium-term and long-term plans of animal agriculture of the whole province, then organizing the implementation.
The third, Researching and proposing the industrialization policies and measures of development of the animal agriculture of the whole province, organizing and guiding popularizing system construction of the whole province, supervising the standardization work of animal agriculture of the whole province, instructing development of relevant enterprises, guiding the integrative management of raising, processing and sale of the animal agriculture.
The forth, being responsible for the administration and products quality supervision and control of animal agriculture of the whole province, organizing and supervising animal's epidemic prevention.
The fifth, drafting the development plan of the education of science and technology of the trade, organizing implementation of the great scientific research project, guiding scientific-tech popularization, education training and building of animal agriculture veterinarian's.
The sixth, being responsible for the foreign economic and technological exchanges and cooperation of animal agriculture.
